Developed and taught classes in understanding contemporary art, modern art in historical perspective, painting and drawing classes for adults and children, critique classes for artists and training programs in analyzing art through interactive discussions for museum docents and art teachers, and recently developed programs for visually impaired people. We have received grants from the Illinois Arts Council, the Evanston Arts Council and private foundations for programs in schools and senior centers. Additional support comes from individual memberships. We won the Evanston Mayor’s Award in the Arts in 1997.
